MAJOR ANTHONY W. SUTTON

Maj. Anthony W. Sutton is the Commander, 56th Component Maintenance Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz.

Major Sutton enlisted in 1993 and was commissioned in 2003 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas. He has held aircraft maintenance and logistics positions in Air Combat Command, Air Force Materiel Command, Air Education and Training Command, U.S. Central Command, and U.S. Special Operations Command.  He is qualified in three Air Force Specialty Codes to include aircraft maintenance, logistics plans, and supply.  His primary aircraft maintenance experience is on A-10s, HH-60s, F-22s, E-3s, F-15S, F-15Es, and F-15SGs.  His duties have taken him on worldwide deployments in support of operations Southern Watch and Enduring Freedom.   Prior to his current assignment, he was the Operations Officer for the 366th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, overseeing maintenance for 59 aircraft within the 366th Fighter Wing's three squadrons of F-15E and F-15SG aircraft valued at $3.1 billion.
