Carley Smith, 4, and her sister, Natalie, 2, pet Max, 10, as he looks out the front door of the Luke Air Force Base Veterinary Clinic. Max, a 21-pound gray tabby cat, has been at the Luke clinic for the last ten years after he was discovered in a drainage ditch after a monsoon.
