Lt. Col. Thomas L. "TJ" Cluff Jr. is the Staff Judge Advocate, 56th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. His office provides legal advice to the wing commander as well as to subordinate units and tenants. He oversees the provision of legal services to a base population of 7,500 active duty and civilian personnel. He supervises a staff of 16, including seven judge advocates, five paralegals and four civilians.

Colonel Cluff received a direct commission as an Air Force judge advocate in December 1995, entered active duty in January 1996, and re-entered active duty in February 2002 after a two-year break in service. He has served as a staff judge advocate, a deputy staff judge advocate, and deployed twice. He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Texas, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
