Maj. Jeffrey E. Campbell is the Commander, 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. He leads 575 personnel in providing intermediate and flight line aircraft maintenance for 138 assigned F-16s in support of six F-16 fighter squadrons. He directs aircraft phase inspections, transient alert, structural repair, fabrication, armament systems maintenance, delivery and repair of aerospace ground equipment, and munitions maintenance. He is responsible for a $71M munitions inventory along with 69 facilities, 107 vehicles, and a $1.4M annual budget.

Major Campbell was born in New Haven, Conn., and joined the Air Force in 1985. He was commissioned from Officer Training School in 2001. He has served in a variety of communications and information systems, munitions, and aircraft maintenance positions in Air Combat Command, 11th Air Force and Pacific Air Forces. Prior to his current assignment, he was maintenance operations officer, 3rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Major Campbell has deployed in support of operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
