Col. Victor H. Mora is the Commander, 56th Maintenance Group, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz.
Colonel Mora enlisted in the U.S. Air Force Reserve in 1985 and earned his commission through Officer Training School in October 1990 as the number one honor graduate in his class. A career aircraft maintenance officer, Colonel Mora also has extensive experience in munitions maintenance and logistics planning, including assignments on two joint logistics staffs.
Colonel Mora has previously commanded a maintenance operations squadron and aircraft maintenance squadron, and he served as Deputy Commander of the 52nd Maintenance Group at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. He has deployed as Commander of the 332nd Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, Balad AB, Iraq, and Director of Logistics for Combined Forces Special Operation Component Command - Forward, Al Udeid AB, Qatar.
EDUCATION
1987 Bachelor of Arts degree in theology/religious studies, magna cum laude, Seattle University, Wash.
2004 Master's degree in military operational art and science, Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell AFB, Ala.
2012 Master's degree in strategic studies, highest academic distinction, Air War College, Maxwell AFB, Ala.
