Welcome to the Medical Library Online. Our library collection contains more than 2,000 books and 100 journal subscriptions. Interlibrary loans are available for materials not owned by the library. Electronic access to information is expanding rapidly and the library provides access to the World Wide Web

  • MEDSCAPE - To make available to a broad medical audience clinical information with the depth, breadth, and validity needed to improve the practice of medicine

  • Center of Excellence for Medical Multimedia (CEMM)- provides patients and educators with a starting point for researching reliable Internet health resources.
  • Combined Health Education Database (CHID) - a database produced by health-related agencies of the Federal Government. This database provides titles, abstracts, and availability information for health information and health
    education resources.
  • Consumer Information Catalog - site for the Federal Consumer Information Center (FCIC), Pueblo, a one-stop shopping center for online federal consumer publications.

  • Med Help International - a collection of information and professional medical support gathered from the best medical organizations and experts in the world.
  • Medscape - Medscape offers medical specialists, primary care physicians, and other health professionals the Web's most robust and integrated multi-specialty medical information and education tool.
  • National Cancer Institute CancerNet Site (including PDQ) - provides recent and accurate cancer information from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the Federal Government's principal agency for cancer research.
  • NOAH: New York Online Access to Health - NOAH seeks to provide high quality full-text health information for consumers that is accurate, timely, relevant and unbiased. NOAH currently supports English and Spanish. It is a joint project of The City University of New York, The Metropolitan New York Library Council, The New York Academy of Medicine and The New York Public Library.
