Article 137 Brief
Typically held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday every month at 1000 in the Legal Office.  Confirm attendance and availability with TSgt Nikki Walberg, via email.
 
Tax Center
The Tax Center is currently closed.  It is expected to open around the last week of January.  Please call 623-856-3140 to confirm the schedule one week prior.
 
Vehicle Registration Tax Forms
Available to Active Duty and ARC Personnel as long as the requirements of the DMV are met.  For the exact requirements please view the DMV website.  For Non-Arizona Residents, please bring a copy of your monthly LES.  For Arizona Residents, please bring a copy of your last deployment orders which have not already been used to register two vehicles in Arizona.

Maricopa County Self Help Service Center
The Maricopa County Self-Help Center is not endorsed by the United States Air Force, Department of Defense, or Luke Air Force Base.  The Center is a county run service for civil issues in Maricopa County.  You may access the site here.

Outprocessing - Smooth Move Brief
Please go here to complete the required training for outprocessing.  After completion email a screenshot of the certificate to A1C Michael Brooks or Ms. Beverly Dennie.

Household Goods Claims
Please visit the Claims Service Center to process claims related to PCS.

Claims due to Government Negligence
Please mail a signed SF-95 to our address with a sum claimed and any supporting documents.

If you are already represented by a civilian attorney for any matter on which you are seeking legal assistance, you must provide a written waiver or letter of consent from your attorney before seeing a legal assistance attorney.

Walk-in Legal Assistance available on Thursday 1600-1630.  (No wills)

Same day appointments can be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday by calling 623-856-6901/6937 between 0730 -0815. For retirees and their dependents, limited forecasted appointments are available by calling at 0745 on Mondays or the first duty day of the week. 
75% of all appointments are reserved for Active Duty Military.

Please note that the legal office cannot provide assistance in the following matters:  Criminal actions or misdemeanors, third party advice, hypotheticals, trusts, for profit ventures or businesses, LOAC or Standards of Conduct issues, issues in which the Air Force has an interest, or private organizations.  Legal personnel can also not provide representation in civil court, or give legal advice over the phone or at the front desk.
