LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. --   Six brave competitors gathered Saturday to see how many slices of pizza they could eat in the Anthony's Pizza Eating Contest. The competition was one of a variety of events that took place this past weekend in celebration of the grand re-opening of the remodeled base exchange. Though all the competitors gave it their all, Monique Griffin, wife of Staff Sgt. Jason Griffin, 56th Maintenance Operations Squadron, won, eating almost a whole pizza in eight minutes. She won a $50 gift card and bragging rights.
