Eielson AFB civic leaders visit Luke
Brig. Gen. Todd Canterbury, 56th Fighter Wing commander, briefs Eielson Air Force Base military and civic leaders about F-35A Lightning II training Nov. 19, 2019, at Luke AFB, Ariz. While at Luke, members from Eielson visited the F-35 Academic Training Center, 62nd Fighter Squadron and Luke AFB fire station. Luke is home to more than 171 fighter aircraft, including 94 F-35 fifth generation fighters; and, with a mission to train the world’s greatest fighter pilots, Luke trains 75% of the world’s F-35 pilots.
