Search Dog

Staff Sgt. John Pillarella, 56th Security Forces Squadron military working dog trainer, works with Jampy, a military working dog Mar. 18 at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. Jampy is one of six Military dogs assigned to Luke, with one currently deployed. SSgt Pillarella and his dog play a key role in providing top notch security measures. SSgt Paillarella is currently training Jampy on how to locate explosives in preparation for operations in Iraq. The theam occasionally assists local law enforcement on bomb and drug searches.
