Luke Hosts Juneteenth Cookout

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Andrew Chieng, 56th Force Support Squadron food service apprentice, operates the grill at a Juneteenth cookout June 16, 2023, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Luke AFB held a cookout to celebrate Juneteenth and honor the historical significance it holds. Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the day slavery was effectively ended in the United States, resulting in the emancipation of African American slaves.
