Harris salutes excellent, outstanding efforts

LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. --  Congratulations Team Luke!

The UCI team has validated with an "Excellent" rating, what I have seen over the past 14 months since taking command of the greatest wing in the Air Force. This stellar rating proves the fantastic job our Thunderbolts do to train the world's greatest F-16 fighter pilots and maintainers while deploying mission-ready warfighters. We had no repeat write-ups nor major deficiencies.

I want to thank all our team members both military and civilian, for the hard work and dedication that went into preparing for this inspection. I would also like to recognize the following seven organizations, which received an "Outstanding" rating from the UCI inspection team:

·56th Fighter Wing Public Affairs
·56th Training Squadron Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses Flight
·56th Operations Support Squadron Weapons Flight
·56th Communications Squadron Plans and Resources Flight
·56th Security Forces Squadron Standardized Evaluation Section
·56th Range Management Office

We also had five top performers who were coined by the UCI team for their superior performance:

·Senior Master Sgt. Jennifer Ewing, 56th Medical Operations Squadron
·Tech. Sgt. Charles Smith, 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron

·Michael Carbone, 56th Logistics Readiness Squadron
