The funeral service for the 56th Fighter Wing Airman who was killed along with eight other Americans April 27 at the Kabul International Airport, Afghanistan will be held Friday, May 20 at 12:45 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, VA.
Lt. Col. Frank D. Bryant, Jr. will receive full military funeral honors and will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Officers Club. Those who would like to attend, should arrive early and bring photo identification.
Colonel Bryant, was assigned to the 56th Operations Group and had been deployed since June 2010 to the Combined Joint Chiefs of Staff Afghanistan-Pakistan Hands Program as the air advisor to the 438th Air Expeditionary Advisor Group.
