Finance 'action line' now open to resolve pay issues Published Oct. 22, 2010 By Capt. Gerardo Gonzalez 56th Fighter Wing Public Affairs LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- The 56th Comptroller Squadron has instituted an e-mail "action line" to help Luke Air Force Base personnel get answers to pay concerns and resolve pay problems. Finance members aim to respond promptly to those submitting questions to "Thunderbolt Finance," on the e-mail global address list or to thunderbolt.finance@luke.af.mil. "We will get a command level review and a response within one duty day," said 1st Lt. Justen Pettigrew, 56th CPTS operations officer. "We will also follow up with you until your issue is resolved." The new action line is part of the base finance office efforts to improve processes and ensure pay issues do not become a distraction to Airmen or the mission, Lieutenant Pettigrew said. "Because Airmen are committed to the mission, our commitment is that we will not rest until their Air Force finances are in order," the lieutenant said. "By allowing us to meet the needs of individual Airmen, it will also help us improve the service that other Luke Airmen may receive." Airmen with Air Force pay concerns or difficulties that need another look from the finance experts should submit an e-mail to the 56th CPTS at the above address.
