Members of the newly established Luke Air Force Base bike patrol took part in a week-long training session last week at the Glendale Training Center Range. According to Staff Sgt. Jennifer Encalada, 56th Security Forces bike patrol NCO-in-charge, Luke SFS members worked with the Glendale Police to get tactical bike course certifications. The week-long course includes trail rides, a 52-mile ride to Scottsdale and back, firing a gun while on the bike, dismounts and learning to be proficient in slow riding.

"We joined forces with the Glendale police in order to get our guys trained up and certified to be on their bikes," Sergeant Encalada said.
