Remembering a fallen warrior

A funeral ceremony for Lt. Col. Earl Hopper was held April 3 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. Colonel Hopper and his F-4 Phantom were shot down during the Vietnam war, and just recently, his remains were recovered and returned to his family. Brig. Gen. Kurt Neubauer, 56th Fighter Wing commander, as well as members of the Luke Air Force Base Honor Guard, participated in
the ceremony.
