The U.S. Air Force Thunderbird Aerial Demonstration Team’s F-16 Fighting Falcons soar over Luke Air Force Base during the 2009 Thunder in the Desert Air Show and Open House, March 21. The two-day event jump started the Thunderbirds 2009 air show season. In addition to aerial demonstrations by a variety of military and civilian air teams, the base event featured displays of vintage aircraft and the newest air power in the Air Force inventory.
