A power line that feeds base housing was damaged while digging yesterday morning.

The power outage effects homes on base and the intersection on West Glendale Ave near the Kachina Gate. There are about 100 homes without power. Luke's Civil Engineers began working on the outage as soon as it occurred yesterday morning, They worked through the night and will continue to address the outage until power is restored to all homes on base.  At this time, there is no estimated time for when all power will be completely restored.

During these repairs, you may experience sporadic power losses. To aid in minimizing power interruptions, Luke's Civil Engineers have requested that all residents turn off their air conditioning units allowing the sub-station to power up.
