The first shot of the game was taken by the 56th Operations Support Squadron and was thrown short, setting the tone for a 607th Air Control Squadron win in an early Luke Air Force Base intramural basketball season games. The final score was 60-44.

ACS scored through the first half, and as it wore on, OSS defended harder resulting in penalties, but it didn't stop ACS from pulling ahead 34-13 by the end of the half.
As the second half began, it looked like OSS was going to make a comeback, getting the ball down the court and building a rhythm. Two ACS players answered by working in unison making rebounds and using their speed to gain momentum down the court.

ACS gave it their all for the rest of the game. From double covering defenders to man-on-man defense, they were able to stop OSS from gaining a lead. With the synergy of the two ACS players, OSS more than doubled their score from the first half, but it was too little, too late, and ACS maintained their lead to the end.
