Senior Airman Michael Newman, 56th Security Forces Squadron controller, embraces his daughter, Sarah, 1, upon returning from deployment. He and 25 other members returned June 8 and 9 from Bagram, Afghanistan, after an eight-month-long deployment. They worked detainee operations and force protection. Also returning June 8 were 13 SFS Airmen who deployed to Ali Air Base, Iraq. They were assigned to a law and order detachment and conducted military police duties for more than 11,000 U.S. and coalition forces at Camps Adder and Cedar. Phot by Master Sgt. David Hull.
