VA athletes arrive
Jay Parker, Veterans Affairs athletic volunteer, guides Master Sgt. Randell Voy, 308th Aircraft Maintenance Unit Weapons Flight chief, Buddy Hayes and her service dog, Ellie, to a bus waiting to take them to Snowmass Village, Colo., March 31. Six Airmen from Luke volunteered to help at the 21st National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic. The clinic promotes rehabilitation by instructing veterans with disabilities in adaptive Alpine and Nordic skiing and introducing them to a number of other adaptive recreational activities and sports.
