Thunderbolts lend hands to blind vets

Fritz, a Hungarian Vizsla, gives his owner David Norris an enthusiastic lick on the face at Sky Harbor Airport Monday, as his wife Kay and Airman 1st Class Jose Contreras, 756th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, watches on. Airman Contreras is helping David a legally blind Marine veteran, and his wife Kay with their luggage when they arrived at the airport. The couple will be attending the Blind Veterans Association Annual Conference at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Phoenix. Airman Contreras and other Luke Airmen assisted the arriving conferees at the airport throughout the week.
