Target at Barry M. Goldwater Range
A target on the ground is shown after shots were fired in Range 2 Aug. 26, 2015 at the Barry M. Goldwater Range in southwestern Ariz. BMGR-East’s four manned ranges are used to train pilots in basic air-to-ground delivery of conventional ordnance and special weapons. The manned target complex consists of strafe, tactical strafe, bomb/rocket circle and special weapons targets. Attack aircraft can approach each target at different airspeeds, angles and altitudes. All manned ranges have night operations capability for special weapons deliveries. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Grace Lee)
