9/11 Memorial
A fire fighter from Luke Air Force Base sprint down the stairwell after reaching the top of the air traffic control tower in order to place streamers bearing the names of fallen firefighters on the balcony Sept. 9, 2016. The symbolic act recreated the race for first responders and firefighters to evacuate people from the World Trade Center towers during the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
