AF NCO dedicates four more years of service to nation, re-enlists in deployed fashion

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Rebecca Rains, currently serving in the 380th Expeditionary Operations Support Sq. at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, recites the oath of enlistment being administered by her squadron commander and F-22 Raptor pilot, Lt. Col. August Pfluger, March 3, 2017. The re-enlistment took place while conducting an air refueling in a KC-10 Extender over Syria in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve. Pfluger, who just 11 minutes before the re-enlistment had completed his air tasking in Syria, administered the oath while receiving fuel from the KC-10 and over headset from his F-22 Raptor. Rains re-enlisted for four years.
