Lightning Technician Program: Expediting the Fight
Senior Airman Harrison Reiter, 62nd Aircraft Maintenance Unit crew chief, cleans the wing tip lens on an F-35A Lightning II aircraft as per his training with the Lightning Technician Program June 4, 2021, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Keeping the wing tip lens clean and serviceable is one of the tasks necessary to maintain an aircraft. Sharing new information between units through the LTP cultivates an environment of excellence throughout the 56th Maintenance Group by creating and empowering multi-capable Airmen.
