Luke EOD trains at Camp Navajo: Furious Alpaca
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 56th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight, prepare to leave a mock village to investigate the surrounding area during a training scenario at Camp Navajo, Arizona, April 12, 2023. Members assigned to the 56th CES EOD flight participated in exercise Furious Alpaca; a three-day exercise with the strategic objective of conducting operations in degraded environments alongside foreign forces against a near peer threat. The third day entailed a training scenario in which the 56th CES EOD members had to secure a mock village that was previously under attack and was littered with unexploded ordnances that required mitigation.
