Luke AFB Airmen Participate in the 2025 Thunderbolt Cup

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing play flag football during the 2025 Thunderbolt Cup, Jan. 17, 2025, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The Thunderbolt Cup is a base wide competition where teams compete to earn the most points and walk away with the Thunderbolt Cup trophy. The first Thunderbolt Cup event took place in 2016 and brought Airmen from across the 56th Fighter Wing together for camaraderie and sportsmanship.
