Mission-Ready ALS Airmen at Luke AFB

U.S. Air Force Airmen attending the John. J Rhoades Airman Leadership School engage in paintball fire with active threats, May 2, 2025, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. In a high-stress scenario created by base volunteers role-playing as paintball-armed enemies, the students aimed to clear designated zones for troop passage and establish a secure perimeter. While sweeping the area, the Airmen were ambushed by the simulated enemies and immediately sought cover behind dirt mounds, returning fire until it was safe to advance again.
