Luke Holds Commemorative 5K

U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Jason Shaffer, 56th Fighter Wing command chief, participates in a commemorative 5K and ruck during the 56th Fighter Wing’s police week, May 12, 2025, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The 5K and ruck was held to honor the “14 Fallen Defenders” as a part of Luke AFB’s police week events. Every year during police week, the 56th FW hosts a series of events to honor the legacy of law enforcement personnel, both military and civilian, who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
