Luke Holds Commemorative 5K

U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Jason Shaffer, 56th Fighter Wing command chief, and 56th Security Forces Squadron Airmen begin a commemorative 5K and ruck during the 56th FW’s police week, May 12, 2025, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The 5K and ruck was held to honor the “14 Fallen Defenders.” The “14 Fallen Defenders” serves as a reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by 14 U.S. Air Force Security Forces members who have perished in action since the 9/11 attacks.
