Ryan Fields, 308th Aircraft Maintenance Unit F-35A Lightning II integrated avionics specialist, kneels under the fuselage and uses a specialized system to ready a jet for flight during a Phase 2 Aircraft Generation exercise, Oct. 3, 2025, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. This mission-essential training prepares Luke AFB Airmen for immediate integration into deployed units worldwide.
