Maricopa County Law Enforcement visit the 56th FW

A delegation of local Police Chiefs tours the flightline at the 62nd Aircraft Maintenance Unit, Jan. 6, 2026, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The visit provided local public safety leaders a detailed look at the F-35A Lightning II and the opportunity to discuss the complexities of the 56th Fighter Wing’s training mission with maintenance personnel. This immersion supports Luke AFB’s priority of strengthening community partnerships by fostering transparency and a shared understanding of the base's operational impact on the surrounding Phoenix West Valley.
