Maricopa County Law Enforcement visit the 56th FW

A delegation of local Police Chiefs poses in front of an F-35A Lightning II, Jan. 6, 2026, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The visit to the 62nd Aircraft Maintenance Unit allowed the law enforcement leaders to observe the advanced capabilities of the Air Force's premier fighter aircraft and discuss the complexities of the training mission with base personnel. These high-level engagements are essential to Luke AFB’s ongoing efforts to enhance mutual trust and coordination with public safety partners who support Airmen and their families within the surrounding West Valley communities.
