Luke AFB Demonstrates Global Combat Air Power to Civic Leaders from Across the Country
Col. John Ryan, 56th Fighter Wing deputy commander, briefs civic leaders from across the country and Lt. Gen. Clark Quinn, commander of Air Education and Training Command, Feb. 26, 2026, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The 56th FW, the Air Force’s largest F-35 training wing, trains the world’s greatest fighter pilots and combat-ready Airmen while strengthening partnerships with allied nations. Wing leadership emphasized that Luke AFB’s mission extends beyond pilot qualification, developing Airmen prepared to operate and lead in complex, coalition-driven combat environments.
