Veterinary Clinic provides care for Luke animals
Nicole Avci, Luke Air Force Base Veterinary Treatment clinic officer in charge, listens to the heartbeat of a Luke AFB member’s dog Jan. 24, 2020, in the clinic at Luke AFB, Ariz. The vet clinic helps more than 4,970 privately owned animals, five MWDs, 52 government-owned animals including U.S. Border Patrol, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Customs and U.S. agriculture dogs. The clinic cares for active-duty and retiree members’ privately-owned cats and dogs, MWDs and government-owned dogs by performing annual wellness exams, vaccines and more.
