Royal Australian Air Force departs Luke after completing training objectives

Royal Australian Air Force Squadron Leader Christopher Baker, 61st Fighter Squadron instructor pilot, addresses guests an RAAF Mateship farewell event, Oct. 30, 2020, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Since 2015, 37 RAAF pilots completed the 56th Fighter Wing-led F-35A Lightning II operational conversion course. The successful conclusion of the training program equipped the RAAF with 21 instructors who will enable the service to begin the country’s first Australia-based operational conversion course in 2021.
