Det 12 Training
Airman 1st Class Ross Magedoff, Detachment 12, 372nd Training Squadron Tactical Aircraft Maintenance specialist, inspects components inside the landing gear of an F-16 April 24 on Luke Air Force Base. He graduated from Det. 12’s crew chief training course April 27, certifying as a new crew chief on the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The students’ time at Luke maintaining any one of the 56th Fighter Wing’s 138 F-16s marks the first time they work on jets that are heading out for actual training missions. Their previous experience is on decommissioned jets that no longer flew used only for training. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman C.J. Hatch)
