A representation of Iwo Jima is set out for display during the Luke Air Force Base Spring Fest at Fowler Park April 16. The Marine Corps War Memorial float was created by Phoenix artist Mike Thomas in honor of his father, Francis V. Thomas, a retired Marine, and the men who bravely fought during World War II.
