Staff Sgt. Daniel Romero, 56th Security Forces Squadron combat arms instructor, instructs Maj. Brock Nolan, 56th Medical Operations Squadron staff therapist with techniques on how to fire an M-16 rifle, Mar. 18. SSgt Romero is responsible for maintaining and inspecting all weapons assigned to Luke Air Force Base. Combat Arms instructors conduct live fire training for over 2,000 personnel a year, and use a priority system to ensure deployment requirements are met.
