Moving Wall Memorial stirs memories, emotions
Brig. Gen. Scott Pleus, 56th Fighter Wing commander, spoke Oct. 3 at the opening ceremony for “The Moving Wall,” a half-sized replica of the Vietnam War Veteran Memorial in Washington, D.C. “The Moving Wall” contains the names of 58,249 men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War, of which 622 are Arizonans.
