Firefighters take the heat

Senior Airman Oscar Adame, 56th Civil Engineer Squadron Luke Fire Services driver operator, demonstrates to Ret. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Jeffrey Nemecek, grandfather of Maureen Wagner, 1, how to ensure the child safety restraint is properly secured at a free safety car seat inspection event at Luke AFB. The event was free to Luke Thunderbolts and taught participants how to properly select a car seat based on the height and weight of the child and how to install it correctly. In Arizona, child car seats are required for children to age 5 and booster seats for children 5 through 8 who are 4’9” and shorter.
