Military community launches second loaner library
Staff Sgt. Eric McKinley, 56th Component Maintenance Squadron real property specialist, looks at a static display in the window of the Loaner Library July 28, 2020, at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. McKinley and his wife, Lauren McKinley, 944th Aeromedical Staging Squadron management support specialist, constructed the library and included an attic that has a static display with two Thunderbird model aircraft. Located in the Ocotillo Manor neighborhood near the intersection of Walpai and Kiowa, the free mini-library houses two shelves where individuals are encouraged to take a book and leave one in its place.
