Luke AFB Supporter Appreciation Day brings community closer to the mission

John Petersen, 48th Flying Training Squadron instructor pilot, Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, explains features of a T-1A Jayhawk training aircraft to Airmen assigned to the 607th Air Control Squadron, during the Luke Air Force Base Supporter Appreciation Day event, May 13, 2022, at Luke AFB, Arizona. Petersen flew in from Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi to participate in the event where he showcased the T-1 to other Airmen, base supporters, and civic leaders from surrounding communities.
