Luke Elementary School Celebrates Purple Star School Nomination

Leadership from Luke Air Force Base, along with members of the Dysart Unified School District and local community partners, celebrate Luke Elementary School being named as the first Purple Star School Candidate in the state of Arizona during a ribbon cutting ceremony Oct. 6, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona. To celebrate the accomplishment, Luke Elementary’s faculty and members of the Dysart Unified School District held an assembly, ribbon cutting ceremony and breakfast where they also recognized the military children that are currently attending the school.
