Lock 'n Load Weapons Comp

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Alexander Peterson (left), Staff Sgt. Paolo Silva (front), and Senior Airman Aaron Vind (back), 63rd Aircraft Maintenance Unit weapons load crew members, help prepare a GBU-12 Paveway II bomb for a U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II during the third quarterly weapons load competition, Oct. 6, 2023, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Load competitions serve as part of the final evaluations for quarterly and annual awards in the weapons career field. Exercises like the weapons load competition help advance training to produce command focused U.S., allied, and partner Airmen to meet warfighting needs.
